Privacy Policy
Last Updated: August 17, 2026
1. Introduction
Lightning Leads is a product operated by Seaside Security LLC ("Seaside Security," "we," "us," or "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and otherwise handle your information when you use our website, mobile applications (iOS and Android), and related services (collectively, the "Services").
2. Information We Collect
We collect information in various ways, including:
- Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, company name, and billing address when you create an account.
- Location Data: With your permission, we collect precise GPS location data to provide location-based lead information, route optimization, and territory management. Location is only collected while the app is in use.
- Usage Data: Information about how you interact with our Services, including features used, duration of use, and performance metrics.
- Device Information: Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers (e.g., IDFA, Android Advertising ID), and mobile network information.
- Payment Information: Credit card and billing information processed securely through Stripe, our third-party payment processor.
- Push Notification Tokens: If you enable push notifications, we collect device tokens to send you alerts about new leads and updates.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide, maintain, and improve our Services
- To display leads on a map based on your location and assigned territories
- To optimize driving routes between lead locations
- To process transactions and send related information
- To send push notifications about new leads (with your consent)
- To detect and prevent fraudulent transactions and other illegal activities
- To respond to your inquiries and provide customer support
- To analyze usage patterns and improve user experience
- To comply with legal obligations
4. Personal AI Connectors
If you choose to connect Lightning Leads to ChatGPT, Codex, Claude, Grok, or another supported personal AI provider, the connector may process the following categories of information:
- Public Product Information: Lightning Leads feature descriptions, setup instructions, and product-help documents. Public product help does not require access to your private account.
- Account and Setup Context: Your account role, profile settings, onboarding progress, completed or remaining setup steps, and feature preferences when relevant to your request.
- Field-Sales Context: Account-scoped lead, territory, route, appointment, follow-up, note-summary, goal, and performance information returned by the specific tool you ask the AI to use and permitted by your account access.
- Connector Activity: Tool requests, confirmation choices, success or failure results, timestamps, and limited security or diagnostic information used to operate, protect, and troubleshoot the connection.
Purposes. We use connector data to answer your Lightning Leads requests, explain the product, provide account-specific assistance, authorize and verify requested actions, prevent abuse, maintain security, troubleshoot failures, and improve connector reliability.
Who receives it. When you use a connector, Lightning Leads sends the information needed for the requested tool result to the AI provider you selected. We do not automatically send your private connector data to every supported AI provider. The selected provider processes chat content and tool results under its own privacy policy and account settings. Our hosting, security, and support service providers may also process limited connector data on our behalf.
Credentials and confirmed actions. A supported connection uses an authorization credential to access permitted tools. Connector tokens, OAuth credentials, passwords, payment credentials, and provider API keys are not included in tool results. Important changes, such as adding a lead note or marking a lead for follow-up, require your explicit confirmation and are reported as complete only after Lightning Leads verifies the result.
Retention. The Lightning Leads records accessed or changed through a connector follow the retention rules in Section 7 below. We retain connector authorization records while the connection is active and may retain limited activity and security logs as needed to operate the Services, investigate abuse, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Your selected AI provider may separately retain prompts and tool results under its own policies.
Your controls. You can revoke or replace a Personal AI connection in Lightning Leads and remove the connection in your AI provider's settings. Revocation prevents future requests through that authorization credential, but it does not automatically delete information the AI provider already processed. Contact the selected provider to exercise controls over data held by that provider, and contact us at support@lightning-leads.com for Lightning Leads connector privacy help.
